ITF Radix at 3rd. edition of Elite Stage & Competition

I’m absolutely thrilled to share my experience from the 3rd edition of the Elite Stage & Competition in La Nucia, Alicante, Spain, from January 9th to 11th, 2025! This event was nothing short of spectacular, and I am deeply honored to have had the opportunity to introduce ITF Radix to a dynamic and enthusiastic group of participants.

The atmosphere throughout the event was electric. Practitioners from all over Europe gathered to push their limits in sparring seminars, pattern sessions, and specialized training for instructors holding 4th degrees and higher. The energy and dedication of everyone present were truly inspiring!

The group of participants after class of ITF Radix. It was a true honor to have so many esteemed Masters and Instructors at the classes!

The competitions were a highlight, with intense bouts in both free sparring and patterns. The Gala TOP event was the crown jewel, where the best of the best showcased their skills and were rewarded with trophies, belts, and monetary prizes. It was exhilarating to watch these martial artists give it their all on the mat!

But for me, the most rewarding part was the chance to introduce ITF Radix. This project, which delves into the combat and self-defense applications of ITF Taekwon-Do patterns, has been a labor of love. Seeing the curiosity and excitement in the eyes of the participants as we explored the practical applications embedded in General Choi’s 24 patterns was incredibly fulfilling. ITF Radix isn’t just about techniques—it’s about understanding the deep tactical wisdom within our art, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share this with such an eager audience.

A massive thank you to Grand Master Wim Bos and Master Paco Ferrando for organizing this phenomenal event. Their leadership and passion for Taekwon-Do made the Elite Stage & Competition a world-class experience. The Pabellón Muixara was the perfect venue, equipped with everything we needed to make the event seamless and enjoyable.

An extra special shout-out to the team from TKD Tekkers! They did an amazing job documenting every moment of the event and sharing it on Instagram. Their coverage brought the excitement and spirit of the Elite Stage to a wider audience, allowing those who couldn’t attend to feel like they were part of the action. The photos, videos, and stories were fantastic, capturing the energy, passion, and camaraderie that made this event so special.

I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity to connect with so many talented practitioners and share the journey of ITF Radix. This event has left me energized and excited for the future of our art. Thank you, everyone, for making it an unforgettable experience!
